Tarunika Anand

Tarunika Anand is the Policy Advocate on the Policy and Government Affairs team at the World Wildlife Fund covering plastics pollution and clean energy. They are passionate about environmental justice and championing communities of color and low-income populations.

Tarunika previously served as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Donald Payne Jr. and an Energy and Environment Legislative Correspondent for Senator Jon Ossoff working on conservation and clean energy policy. Prior to their roles on Capitol Hill, Tarunika worked the 2020 campaign cycle as the Campaign Manager for a state senate race and the Deputy Campaign Manager for a state house race in Georgia. Tarunika has also held various positions at the Georgia State Capitol, the Democratic Party of Georgia, and the Atlanta City Council. They graduated from Emory University in 2019 with a B.A. in sociology.
