As director of policy and government affairs, Stephanie leads policy and advocacy for WWF’s strategic priorities related to forests, freshwater, and food systems. Stephanie works with key stakeholders including the US Congress, US Government agencies, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations to strengthen domestic and international efforts on conservation and climate change and deliver for both people and nature. Her work includes policy and advocacy to halt the loss of forests and grasslands; promote sustainable food and freshwater systems; end food loss and waste; and foster responsible international development finance and trade.

Stephanie has advanced sustainable development policy for 15 years at non-profits, in the private sector, and in government. She has led foreign relations and appropriations policy for a senior member of Congress, and most recently served as interim executive director of the Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network, an organization dedicated to improving the effectiveness of US foreign aid programs. Stephanie has experience leading numerous coalition initiatives, including efforts to shape and enact legislation for forests and other vital ecosystems, clean water and sanitation, global food security, foreign aid transparency and accountability, and international development finance.
