Caroline Tippett
Vice President, Ocean Markets & Finance
Caroline Tippett is the Vice President of Ocean Markets & Finance for WWF-US, leading WWF’s seafood market engagement strategy. Caroline leads a team that bridges WWF work between fisheries, aquaculture, traceability, and finance to identify opportunities and positioning for transformational market-based engagement. Her team manages a portfolio of over 70+ WWF US seafood corporate partnerships which now cover over 550 unique fisheries worldwide and 30% of global wild capture. Caroline has held numerous board roles including serving two consecutive tenures on the Supervisory Board of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council and as an alternate on the Global Seafood Sustainability Initiative (GSSI).
Caroline has over two decades of experience working with the food industry. Before joining WWF, Caroline was the Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Business Development for Phillips Foods, a global, vertically integrated seafood supplier. In this role, Caroline directed the development of sustainability initiatives and held a leading role in the creation of the NFI Crab Council, an industry precompetitive initiative working to transition blue swimming crab fisheries across Southeast Asia to more sustainable, responsible resources. Caroline has a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland.
