Amelia Meadows, manager, forests at WWF, works to drive sustainability in global operations and supply chains across the food, beverage, retail, consumer packaged goods, hospitality, technology, and finance sectors. She has extensive expertise in global production, trade, and consumption of forest products and soft commodities. Amelia applies the most current science on environmental issues and translates it into meaningful actions and strategies to help businesses deliver on integrated sustainability goals, align sustainability goals with broader business strategies, and achieve real environmental impact.
Amelia leads WWF’s over $90 million forest collaboration with HP Inc., WWF-US’ largest corporate partner. This 10-year, innovative effort addresses potential deforestation and forest degradation for all paper used in HP products, irrespective of brand, by scaling up investments in forest restoration, protection, and improved management in critical forest landscapes around the world. The collaboration aims to help combat climate change and nature loss through investments in high-integrity nature-based solutions and sets the bar for corporate action, inspiring other companies to address their downstream environmental impacts.
Amelia has a master of arts in international relations, with concentrations in international business strategy, sustainability, and social responsibility, from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She holds a bachelor of arts in international studies from the University of Richmond.
