Scott Lin
Senior Program Officer, Area-Based Conservation Finance
Scott Lin has ten years of experience in investment and development for agriculture and small and medium-sized enterprises. As a Senior Program Officer of Earth for Life, Scott is responsible for developing blended finance solutions that balance conservation and economic development. His focus is on supporting community enterprises in and around conservation areas to enable them to grow in an environmentally sustainable way and provide economic opportunities for local communities while also contributing to conservation efforts.
Scott is passionate about supporting underserved communities in and around conservation areas by leveraging private sector resources to improve both conservation and economic development outcomes. Prior to joining WWF, he held impact investment roles at Heifer International and the International Cooperation and Development Fund. Through these roles, Scott became a strong believer in the transformative power of investment tools to help underserved communities reach their full potential, benefiting both our planet and future generations.
He has a Master’s in International Economic Policy from Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Ming Chuan University. Outside of his formal education, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
